ORENO STONE
Oreno Stone Grinette and Safran Rouge quarries were opened in 2005 in Safranbolu-Turkey. Eflani District, which is adjacent to Safranbolu, 47 km away from Karabük city center, is located between high mountains and valleys. Today, Eflani has rich vegetation, forested areas and limestone beds, a significant part of which is worked for export.
During the studies carried out in the field of Oreno Stone, which has been in this region since 2005, it has been determined that these stones were geologically deposited during the “Eocene” period between 33 and 50 million years ago.
Despite being a young quarry, behind it is the knowledge and experience of Tasca Stone, which has been carrying out very important projects in the natural stone industry for many years. Co-stakeholder OSKAD supports Oreno by combining its architectural creativity with all the possibilities of modern technology, with its understanding of the principle of “high quality” and its strong team. OSKAD has accomplished world-class projects in many countries.
Oreno provides advantages with its high production capacity of 20,000 tons per year as of today + the necessary infrastructure to produce a minimum of 200,000 tons of marble blocks per year.
The reserves of the quarry, which belongs entirely to Oreno Stone, predicted to last for the next 100 years.
